Skincare Routine | Organic Surge

One of the things I've struggled the most with over the years is how to handle my sensitive skin, which is prone to breaking out in every rash/red blotchy nightmare known to man whenever it's approached by a product it doesn't like very much. BUT since finding Organic Surge a few months back, I haven't had a problem with finding anything that suits my skin nicely. You may have already seen me raving about this brand in the past, since I'm obsessively loyal to it these days, but I haven't yet made a complete skincare routine post! Organic Surge is (hence the name) totally organic and great for all skin types, and I can't see myself using anything else any time in the near future! At the moment I'm using Organic Surge Gentle Cleansing Lotion, Daily Care Face Wash, First Class Face Mask once a week, Skin Perfecting Face Polish once a week, Eye Gel, Blissful Daily Moisturiser, and Night Time Sensation Cream. All have contributed  towards clearing my skin up loads and I have nowhere near the amount of break outs as I used to. They're all really gentle, make skin baby smooth and are rich without being too thick. Plus the eye gel has done wonders for toning down panda eyes! Love, love, love.

How To: D.I.Y Shabby Chic Frames

A small fact: Ikea can do dangerous things to me.
In this incidence, these dangerous things come in the form of two photo frames; two pieces of paper and three lipsticks. Sounds bizarre, but all will be revealed.
I've recently acquired a love for shabby chic and developed an impulsive urge to keep my bedroom looking as pink as possible, but I have tried very hard to keep the costs down to a minimum to keep room for my lipstick hoarding habit!
 What you will need:
- a piece of plain A4 card
- 2+ lipsticks in similar shades
- a white vintage-looking frame
It may feel a little odd as you're swiping a million layers of lipstick over your chops and then snogging a piece of paper, but it looks pretty and saves money! I bought my frames from Ikea for £5 each and used MAC Pink Nouveau, MAC Creme Cup and Kate Moss Shade 101 and kept the snogging to a minimum to avoid it looking messy.
Happy D.I.Y-ing!

What Makes us Mad About The Band?

The 2nd of March was a Sunday and a rainy one at that. The BBC's weather prediction had it spot on: heavy showers, dark clouds and a shield of umbrellas arching over a three-street long queue. Outside Birmingham's HMV Institute, hysteria was already on the verge of breaking out as every few steps towards the entrance transformed into a oestrogen motivated race. No lights, crumbling concrete and a ribbon of litter stretching down the street, but nobody was deterred, despite the overarching health and safety issues cropping up here and there - at one point, I was sure I walked through somebody's bedroom set up right there on the street. Regular enthusiastic repetitious chants of 5 Seconds of Summer's songs erupted throughout the  long and gloomy wait in the miserable rain and having arrived an accidental three hours early, I wondered what it was that gave these girls an unwavering loyalty to their vocal chords.
